Perfect hamburger

I tried my hand at painting food. It is less of a challenge than you might think. Everybody that saw the progress kept on asking if it does not make me hungry. And it did not. I was just painting shapes. Never did I think that I’m now painting the a piece of meat or a slice of cheese. It was just shapes and colours.

This was done on a 24″ x 20″ (610mm x 510mm) Fredrix Watercolour Canvas panel. I’ve used it before and I think it is a great surface to work on. Paints are my trusty and highly recommended Marissa range from E’tac. With the big size I could use my Iwata Eclipse.
